MUSIC EXPORT UKRAINE
1. General Terms
Music Export Ukraine (MEU) is an independent initiative established to promote Ukrainian non-academic music internationally. MEU’s areas of activity include, but are not limited to:

Initiating and implementing projects aimed at strengthening international ties within the music industry and showcasing Ukrainian artists abroad (e.g., showcase festivals, capacity-building programs, educational initiatives, exchange programs, media campaigns).

Collaborating with state institutions, international foundations, public initiatives, and other stakeholders to support the development of Ukraine’s music industry.

Organising professional events that foster international B2B relations (such as music conferences, networking meetings, working groups).

Contributing to the development of national and international cultural policies related to the music industry.

Partnering with international music industry professionals (including artist managers, festival bookers, journalists, radio pluggers, etc.).

Creating informational materials to promote the Ukrainian music scene abroad.

Providing consulting services to artists on building and developing their international careers.
Project activities are planned and reviewed by the MEU team on a quarterly basis. Approved projects are carried out by MEU team members according to designated roles. When necessary, MEU may engage external contractors, partners, or volunteers for project implementation.The guiding principles of MEU’s operations are outlined in the organisation's charter.

3. Operating Principles During Russia’s War Against Ukraine
- Inviting more Ukrainian artists to participate in music events.
- Providing platforms for sharing accurate information about the war and ways to help.
- Supporting press conferences, radio and TV broadcasts, roundtables, panel discussions, and public meetings that help raise awareness of the truth about events in Ukraine.
- Promote colonial narratives against Ukraine.
- Distort or ignore facts about Russia’s full-scale invasion.
- Employ pacifist messaging (such as generic calls for peace) to obscure aggression against Ukraine.
