Summer has reached its peak, as well as Ukrainian music news! After the huge success of Artem Pivovarov, who sold out his show 3 times at the largest Ukrainian indoor concert arena of the Kyiv Sports Palace with 10,000 attendees each night, our live industry continues to resurrect.

In May, Music Export Ukraine was bustling with activity, spearheading initiatives to elevate the Ukrainian music industry on both national and international stages. We eagerly prepared to announce the open call for participation in the fourth iteration of our flagship project, Eastern European Music Academy (EEMA) — a hybrid capacity-building project aimed at advancing the careers of independent music professionals across several Eastern European countries.

The spring is gaining momentum, and brings not only unusually warm days, but also a plethora of exciting news from the Ukrainian music scene. It is not surprising that the music industry is accelerating before the start of the summer season, but what's impressive is the fact that during the war in Ukraine, musicians can fill concert halls with 10000 attendees, music festivals take place, and promoters of European festivals come to Ukraine.
