Moderated by Alona Dmukhovska (Music Export Ukraine), the panel brings together leading voices from Ukraine's nightlife and beyond: Anna Lukash (K41), DJ Thelena (Sounds of Ukraine), Smailov (artist, DJ, booking manager), and Matt Lally (Hospital Records, UK). Together, they'll explore how resilience, creativity, and global collaboration are redefining Ukraine's live music landscape — and what lessons it holds for the international scene.
Ukrainian MusicLab 2025 — Bucharest showcase on October 22
Launched by Europavox in collaboration with Music Export Ukraine, the Institut Français of Romania, and Control Club, Ukrainian MusicLab supports emerging Ukrainian artists in reaching new audiences across Europe.
We're proud to announce the five artists selected for the 2025 edition: Marie Hellstein, NINA EBA, Renata Kazhan, TYSK, Vøvk, and YAME.
Before taking the stage in Bucharest, the artists completed an online training program led by European music professionals, covering music export, PR, media presence, and live performance. They also met with journalists and industry experts in speed-meeting sessions — gaining direct feedback and insights into how their work resonates abroad.
The program culminates with a live showcase on October 22, 2025, at Control Club, Bucharest — a free event open to audiences and professionals alike. You are warmly welcome!
