Before the Christmas mood merges all the news, here are some highlights of the Ukrainian music scene. Our team is thrilled to unveil the EEMA Winter 2024 course, set to kick off on February 1st. If you're a music enthusiast aged 18-30, this 12-week hybrid program is tailor-made for you, promising to be a transformative journey into the heart of the music industry.

EEMA, the Eastern European Music Academy, is a collaborative effort by Music Export Ukraine, RAW Music (Romania), and Lala Slovak Music Export (Slovakia). Together, we're on a mission to propel the careers of independent musicians and managers from Eastern and Central Europe, as well as the Baltic countries.

A comprehensive course covering 12 dynamic topics, led by gurus of the music industry, including some mentioned in IQ Magazine's prestigious "The New Bosses 2023 List." Imagine the wisdom shared by  top managers from Live Nation or influential figures from Global Records. But wait, there's more! After soaking in this knowledge for three months, the crème de la crème – the top 10 students – will have a trip paid to the  Athens Music Week.

Ready to embark on this musical odyssey? Follow the Link before December 15th, 2023, and secure your spot. While there's a participation fee of 100 EUR, fear not – scholarships are available to make this opportunity accessible to all. For a deep dive into the details, visit EEMA.

The next block of news is dedicated to awesome Ukrainian musicians, whose names are becoming more popular and recognizable around the world.

The BBC just dropped a cool new episode of the Music Life podcast! It's hosted by the awesome British pop duo originating from Ukraine the Bloom Twins. In this episode, they chat with JAMALA and DOROFEEVA. The musicians spill the beans on how their Ukrainian identity has shaped their music, especially with everything going on during russia's invasion of Ukraine. Plus, they share some helpful tips for up-and-coming Ukrainian musicians. The whole 25-minute podcast is in English, and you can give it a listen right here!

Ukrainian electronic musician Maksym Sikalenko (Cape Cod) has joined Apple Music's Cold Times campaign -  a series of exclusive DJ mixes from Apple Music. He recorded a DJ mix of songs by Ukrainian and foreign artists.  Every year, the company selects several artists from around the world and invites them to create mixes based on their perception of the cold seasons, autumn and winter. The playlist Cape Cod has created is a mix of meditative pastimes: it is ideal for cozy meetings and endless conversations at home. The playlist includes the names of such Ukrainian artists and musicians as JAMALA, Valentin Silvestrov, Hyphen Dash and Cape Cod himself. Listen here

And big shoutout to the awesome Ukrainian dark electronics duo, Farba Kingdom! They just snagged the title of the top November community's choice band at Europavox Media, and we couldn't be prouder!
