CMYK releases their first folk sample pack — and invites the world to create with it
Kyiv-based collective CMYK has just released their first sample pack, bringing together instrumental melodies from three Ukrainian regions — Halychyna, Polissia, and Naddniprianshchyna — and making them available to producers worldwide.
The pack invites artists to experiment, remix, and integrate traditional sounds into contemporary tracks, bridging heritage and modern production. Built together with musicians from different regions, it captures diverse local textures and turns them into a shared creative resource. CMYK openly encourages producers to use the sounds in their own music, share results, and tag the project — turning this into a living, collaborative ecosystem rather than a static release.
A beautiful example of how tradition can become raw material for the future of Ukrainian music. Explore the CMYK sample pack on Bandcamp. ✨
