Line-up 2025

Marie Hellstein: Ukrainian artist from Kharkiv, now based in Kyiv, with roots in music and theatre. Her sound blends alternative and indie pop with poetic lyrics and a strong visual sensibility, shaped by her background as a theatre director.

She began performing as a child, released a debut album at nine, and later combined songwriting with theatre work across Ukraine and Europe. Since 2020, she has been releasing her own music and poetry, earning recognition such as a Jager Music Awards shortlist (2023) and selection for the Na Yiyi Osnovi Songwriting Camp (2024).

In 2025, she signed with Pomitni label and continues to bring an emotional Ukrainian voice to international stages.

Nina Eba: Ukrainian artist, producer, and DJ whose music blends experimental electronics, trip hop, and art rock. Starting her creative journey in Kyiv, she wrote her first compositions at 12, played in rock bands, and later developed a solo practice inspired by Nicolas Jaar and the Kyiv collective GRVGRV, known for its countercultural, bass-oriented sound.

After relocating to Graz in 2023, Nina began performing solo, including a debut at the Woman Action Forum on International Women’s Day. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sound Design, focusing on experimental electronics, spatial audio, and interactive installations. Her work explores emotion, technology, and community, aiming to shape the future of contemporary Ukrainian music.

Renata Kazhan: Ukrainian musician based in Helsinki. Starting out as the lead vocalist in a band, she eventually found her own path in electronic music. Her sound blends elements of pop and ambient, creating hypnotic, immersive soundscapes that are deep, layered, and dreamlike.

With slow builds and ethereal textures, her music sits in the realm of slow-burn pop — balancing intimacy with intensity. Through both music and visuals, Renata aims to transport audiences into a dreamy, subconscious space where sound and emotion merge.

TYSK: Ukrainian electronic collective uniting musicians, photographers, and visual artists from Kharkiv and Lviv. Their sound reimagines British electronic influences, blending grime, breaks, electro, and recitative with references to Ukraine’s cultural code.

They have performed at major festivals and clubs such as Brave! Festival, Closer, Circulation(S), and Outra Cene, and created the audiovisual show Tysk.Experience, reflecting on life during the full-scale invasion and presented across Europe.

In 2023, TYSK co-founded the Centre for New Culture “Some People” in Kharkiv, building a community space to sustain cultural life just 20 km from the frontline. Their name, meaning “pressure” in Ukrainian, mirrors the intensity and force of their music and mission.

Vøvk: Kyiv-based band that merges progressive rock and post-hardcore, balancing structured chaos, emotional intensity, and experimentation. Their lyrics weave between the symbolic and the personal, creating surreal and evocative narratives.

The band has toured Europe twice, played numerous charity concerts, and performed at festivals including Faine Misto, Gogolfest, Winter Mass VI, Rock-n-Buh, Respublica, and Impulse Fest.

Vøvk’s discography features the album Lair and a cover of DakhaBrakha’s Sho Z-Pod Duba. Recent singles Iskra and Promin (featuring Johannes Persson of Cult of Luna) pave the way for their upcoming second album Litera.

With their raw yet intricate sound, Vøvk stand as one of the most striking voices on Ukraine’s heavy and experimental scene.

YAME: Ukrainian electronic duo formed by Alexander Seletsky and Victor Kiriakidi. With a background in various music projects, they came together to create a distinctive sound that blends contemporary independent dance music with experimental influences.

Inspired by pioneers such as Yello and Kraftwerk, YAME has released tracks on respected labels including Disco Halal(To The Sea) and UFO Sound (EP Alright). Their collaborations include projects with artists like Indieveed and The Organism, expanding their presence in the European electronic scene.

Known for melodic, hypnotic grooves, YAME has written over three hours of original music, with tracks played by leading DJs including Solomun, Moscoman, Yolanda Be Cool, and The Organism.
